Chemical Waste Treatment Technician (Redmond, OR)

Position Summary:
PCC Schlosser is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Chemical Waste Treatment Technician to join our Chemical Milling Operations Support Team. This hands-on role is primarily focused on maintaining and repairing process equipment used in chemical milling.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, tanks, filters, and chemical dosing systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in the chemical milling area.
• Monitor system performance and perform routine pH balance checks.
• Assist with safe handling, storage, and transfer of process chemicals and waste materials.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and support safe operations.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills; comfortable with basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely handle and work around industrial chemicals (training provided).
• Basic understanding of pumps, piping, and control systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional overtime or shift coverage optional.

Competitive hourly wage. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
