Mountain View Well Drilling is currently looking for candidates for a driller’s helper position. Duties include:
Helping move and set up and tear down drilling equipment.
Assisting driller as needed.
Shoveling of drill cuttings.
Preparing materials and pipe to keep drilling process moving smoothly.
Helping with preventative maintenance on drilling rigs and support equipment.
Loading out materials and preparation for jobs.
Cleaning up of jobsites.
Assist in installation of well pump systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent with valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Reliable Transportation.
Must be able to back up a trailer and drive a manual transmission
Have a good work ethic, show up on time and complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
Be willing to work somewhat flexible schedule as workload dictates ( Monday Thru Friday)
Must be able to lift 75 LBS and be on feet for extended periods
Have a working cell phone, (Required for timekeeping app.)
Must be able to pass drug test (Including Marijuana)
Preferred experience:
Prior experience as a driller’s helper
Cutting and Welding, Fabrication
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Forklift Experience
Commercial Driver’s License
Heavy Equipment experience, (Backhoe, Excavator)
Basic Plumbing and Electrical
Basic Rigging
