DCR Northwest is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who takes real pride in their craft.
We are a high-end residential remodeling company based in Bend, Oregon specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations. Our projects are design-forward, detail-driven, and built with a high level of care — and we’re looking for someone who holds themselves to that same standard.
This is not a production framing job or a “show up and swing a hammer” role.
We’re looking for a true lead carpenter — someone confident running remodel projects, solving problems in the field, communicating professionally, and leading a job site with pride and accountability.
What This Role Looks Like:
• Leading residential remodel projects from demo to finish
• Managing day-to-day site operations
• Coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and materials
• Performing skilled carpentry work including framing, layout, cabinetry, trim, and finish work
• Maintaining a clean, organized, professional job site
• Communicating with clients and our internal team clearly and respectfully
• Helping mentor and guide carpenters/laborers on site
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong residential remodeling experience
• Previous Lead Carpenter experience preferred
• Ability to independently run a job site
• High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and leadership
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
• Someone who genuinely cares about the final product
