Elite Security & Fire Alarm, LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed LEA Journeyman Electrician to join our Central Oregon team. We specialize in fire alarm, security, access control, surveillance, and communication systems for commercial and industrial facilities.
This role is ideal for a technician with strong low-voltage experience who is eager to grow their expertise with Potter fire alarm systems and DMP security platforms. Training will be provided on brand-specific programming and system integration for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, maintain, program, commission, and service low voltage systems.
· Perform NFPA-compliant testing and inspections.
· Program and troubleshoot Digital Monitoring Products (DMP) systems, including:
o Virtual Keypad
o Dealer Admin
o Communication modules
· Install and commission different fire alarm systems
· Remote configuration
· Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
· Diagnose and resolve service issues efficiently and professionally.
· Ensure all work complies with OSSE and NFPA standards.
· Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and customers.
· Mentor apprentices when assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
· Current Oregon LEA Journeyman License
· Proven experience with low voltage installations, including fire alarm, security, or access control systems
· Strong troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently in the field
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Potter fire alarm systems and DMP security platforms
· Knowledge of IP-based systems and networking
· Advanced DMP programming, Dealer Admin, and remote configuration
· Advanced Potter programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting
· Experience leading projects or supervising apprentices
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
· Lift certifications (scissor/aerial)
