Compensation: Pay is Negotiable Depending on Experience
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Foreman Electrician to lead commercial electrical construction projects from rough-in through final completion. The successful candidate will supervise field crews, coordinate with project managers and general contractors, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and supervise electrical crews on commercial construction projects.
*Plan, organize, and assign daily tasks to electricians and apprentices.
*Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, one-line diagrams, and construction documents.
*Coordinate work with project managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and inspectors.
*Install and oversee installation of conduit, switchgear, panelboards, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and other commercial electrical equipment.
*Ensure all work complies with NEC requirements, local codes, and company quality standards.
*Monitor project schedules and productivity to meet construction deadlines.
*Conduct job-site safety meetings and enforce company safety policies.
*Track labor hours, material usage, and project progress.
*Train, mentor, and develop apprentices and crew members.
*Troubleshoot field issues and implement practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.
Qualifications
*Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician License.
*5+ years of Foreman commercial electrical construction experience.
*Previous foreman experience is a must.
*Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and commercial construction practices.
*Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
*Experience with conduit bending, service installations, switchgear, lighting controls, and commercial power distribution systems.
*Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
*OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
*Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
