Dream Decks and Remodeling LLC is a well-established Central Oregon contractor specializing in high-quality wood and composite decks, exterior carpentry, and residential remodeling. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in their work and wants to become an important part of our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced carpenter with at least two years of hands-on experience in framing, deck construction, or residential remodeling.
The right person will be dependable, productive, detail-oriented, and able to complete carpentry work independently. This position is also a good opportunity for someone who enjoys helping less-experienced crew members improve and wants the potential to grow into a larger leadership role.
Responsibilities
Build, repair, and replace wood and composite decks.
Perform framing and carpentry work on residential remodeling projects.
Complete work accurately, efficiently, and according to our quality standards.
Help guide and support less-experienced crew members.
Manage time effectively to help keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
Follow applicable safety requirements, building codes, and project specifications.
Maintain a basic set of carpenter tools and bags in good working condition.
Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, and company management.
Qualifications
At least two years of professional carpentry or construction experience.
Strong framing skills; deck-building and remodeling experience are preferred.
Ability to work independently and solve jobsite problems effectively.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic carpenter tools and tool bags. We may be able to help with additional tools when needed.
Ability to perform physically demanding construction work and work outdoors in varying Central Oregon weather.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation and Benefits
$25–$30 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill.
Performance and wage review after 90 days.
401(k).
