The first is a scarce vintage Merit Tools Plumb Bob complete with its original cord (approx. 4 feet). It has a hexagonal steel body and a removable steel tip. It was made in the USA for surveyors years ago. It is approximately 4-1/4 inches long and 1-1/4 inches in diameter and weighs 11.7 ounces.
The second is a conical-shaped plumb bob. It is steel and weighs 4.1 ounces. It is 2-1/2 inches long.
