Scarce antique Bailey Block Plane with 1858 and 1867 Patent Dates. It has an adjustable throat, brass fittings, and a smooth bottom. The body is 7 inches long and the blade is 1-5/8 inches wide. The blade is sharp and free of nicks. All adjustment screws and bolts turn as designed. There is a hairline split on a side wall that does not impair performance. This antique Bailey plane was made in the USA and would be a great addition to a collection or your shop.
