Please note that I will NOT use my cell phone to call you or send you texts, in order to avoid phishing scams and telephone number skimming. I will only contact you using Craigslist email services and I will not ship. A sales transaction requires face-to-face contact in a public place in Bend, OR.
Tested working (see photos) and for sale for $30, cash only.
This DVI to ADC Display Adapter was released by Apple Computer in 2002. It allows you to connect Apple's older Studio and Cinema monitors equipped with Apple's discontinued ADC video connector with DVI graphics cards that were standard on PCs and later Apple machines. The adapter includes its own power supply and splits the ADC signal into DVI and USB. If you have an Apple monitor with ADC that's collecting dust in storage, this will allow you to pair it up with any DVI-equipped PC or Mac you might have.
The last few photos show the adapter working with an old Apple Studio Display connected to a Dell PC about ten years old running Windows 10. The monitor and Dell PC are NOT for sale -- they are only shown to prove that this device is fully functional. Again, this listing is for the ADAPTER AND ITS CABLES ONLY -- nothing else seen in the photos is for sale.
Supported Apple monitors include:
15-inch Apple Studio Display (2000)
17-inch Apple Studio Display (2001)
22-inch Apple Cinema Display (2000)
23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display (2002)
I am willing to meet in a public place in Bend to complete this sale by a car-to-car transfer. Because I am coming from the west side of town, I have listed here a potential public transaction location at the picnic gazebo at Northwest Crossing's Discovery Park here in Bend. However, I am open to a buyer's location preferences if they desire to complete this transaction at another public site in Bend.
