I am retired and woodworking is a hobby of mine. I normally make furniture for ourselves and friends/family. Since I like to stay very busy, throwing it out there if you might need something made. I have made a lot of natural edge pieces as well as traditional styles. Have a pretty good inventory of beautiful wood slabs including elm, boxelder, walnut, maple, burl maple, Indian rosewood, myrtlewood, and acacia, and I know where to get others. I have made dining room tables, coffee tables, end tables, entry tables, benches, custom signs, resin accent tables, mantles, custom coat racks, wall art, charcuterie/serving trays, and cutting boards. I don't mark up material costs and I will only ask for a nominal labor cost. I make metal legs at a fraction of normal cost. I primarily do this because I love working with wood. My prices are a fraction of what you would pay at a store or if made by a custom woodworker. I have attached examples of things I have made. What you like is what matters, so custom items are fun and challenging. I am open to making new things that I have never made before.
