1972 340.
There is some internal damage due to a rod cap or rod bolt separating
#7 & #8 rods and pistons are beat-up and there is some damage to the bottom, of the cylinders. BUT, it does not look like the walls are damaged.
This is one of those that the buyer has to put eyes on and decide if he has the skills to fix it or the money to pay a shop to do the work.
It is salvageable and a 340 is getting very hard to find.
Although it is a 72 and has a cast crank, someone attempted to do an internal balance but, the crank is toast so a forged piece will solve the problem.
