This is Marnie. She is a mini pig mix. Julianna/Pot Belly. She was purchased from a reputable pig breeder in WA. We absolutely love her but I was relocated out of state for work and won't be settled in a permanent location for about a year. Ideally if I can have her watched and get her back in about a year that would be awesome. Otherwise I need to find her a good, loving home. Owning a pig isn't easy! It's like have a young child. She ONLY eats pig chow from the feed store and fresh fruits and veggies. Usually 6am- 5/6pm. With some snacks mid day. She cannot eat people food and junk food. You need to be able to get her the correct diet. She is an indoor/house, outdoor pig.
She uses a litter box. You can only use paper or pine pellets. It needs to be changed every 2/3 days. Again that's an expense. I've found at the feed store you can get "horse pine pellets" for $5 a bad usually. She is sweet and loving and needs lots of attention. She will start being destructive and being upset if she doesn't get quality time with a human.
Great with cats. Has never been around dogs. Great with older kids. Kids need to be kind and gentle around her. She has a leash and you can walk her on it too. She loves to sit on a lap at night before bed and she puts herself to bed usually by 7/8pm under a blanket every night. ( She's on Farm time!) ;) Overall she's a great addition to our family and I need to know she's with someone that has patience and understands her.
You'll need to let us know you own your own home and you have no dogs in your home.
You will need to show you have the means and understanding to care for her and give her a loving forever home/ or part time home.
