A rapidly growing Cannabis cultivation and Processing company in Oregon is looking for a multi-faceted individual to assist us with managing our accounting and bookkeeping activities as other general office management tasks.

The ideal candidate will:
-Have a background in bookkeeping/accounting or similar.
-Have an understanding of Manufacturing and associated accounting.
-Have a degree in Business, Finance, or other related field.
-Enjoy assisting with the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
-Be willing to handle day to day entries in addition to thinking strategically about the financial picture of the business.
-Be interested in learning about Cannabis cultivation and other Cannabis businesses.
-Value organic agriculture approaches and methodology.
-Be a team player that works well both individually and as part of a group.
-Have reliable transportation.
-Be able to use an Apple or PC computer and be reasonably proficient in online applications and Word/Excel/PowerPoint/etc.
-Embrace authenticity, humility, creativity, and harmony.
-Have knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
-Be unafraid of working with a startup organization.
Your duties will include:
-Managing A/R, A/P, General Journal entries, etc,.
-Assisting in budgetary and planning processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. You will also be responsible for tracking variances from projected/real budgetary values.
-Maintain employee files to ensure compliance.
-Interfacing with our CPA's/accounting firm to assist with payroll, annual audits, tax return preparation and seeking answers to other questions that may come up during the normal course of business.
-Assisting in annual audits with our outside accounting firm.
-Adherence to GAAP.
-Supporting the efficacy of the business through strategic thinking.
-Interface with other staff and provide backup support for Metrc compliance.
You will be expected to work full-time at our primary production facility in Bend, OR. You must have reliable transportation and be willing to be flexible about work schedules. Some weekend work may be required from time to time depending as needed.
