Paid Summer Internship – Office & Customer Service Assistant
Northwest Laundry Services is looking for a dependable and friendly Office & Customer Service Intern for the summer. This is a paid, entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience in office administration, customer service, and basic business operations.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4–6 hours per day
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Seasonal: Summer internship
Responsibilities
The intern may assist with:
Answering phones and taking messages
Greeting walk-in customers
Helping with filing, paperwork, and basic data entry
Assisting with laundry order paperwork and customer follow-up
Helping organize office supplies and work areas
Supporting the office team with simple projects and daily tasks
Assisting with light linen or plant-support duties as needed
Requirements
Applicants must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be dependable, friendly, and willing to learn
Have basic computer skills
Be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Have basic math skills
Be organized and detail-oriented
Be comfortable working with customers in person and by phone
Be able to sit, stand, bend, and move around during the workday
Previous office or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
