Our Thrift Store it’s a cornerstone of our mission and a vital source of funding for affordable homes in our community. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to guide the Sisters Habitat Thrift Store into its next chapter of impact and growth.
About the Role: As Thrift Store Manager, you will oversee the full operation of the store — driving financial performance, cultivating a welcoming and inclusive environment, and ensuring the store generates sustainable revenue to support affordable housing in Sisters and the surrounding area.
What You’ll Do (include but not limited to):
*Lead all day-to-day store operations
*Drive financial performance through budgeting, reporting, and revenue management
*Oversee inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategy
*Recruit, supervise, and support paid staff and volunteers
*Ensure safety, compliance, and facility oversight
*Foster a culture of inclusion, respect, and service
What You Bring:
*Strong leadership and organizational skills
*Financial literacy, including budgeting and basic reporting
*Confidence working with diverse populations
*Sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
*Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and standard computer applications
Experience That Sets You Apart:
*3–5 years of retail management or comparable operational leadership
*Experience in nonprofit, thrift, resale, or social enterprise settings preferred
*Experience supervising both paid staff and volunteers strongly preferred
*Background in merchandising, inventory management, and budgeting
