I'm relatively new to the area and looking to pick some tunes with good folks that are fun to hang out with. My tastes run toward jamgrass, newgrass, instrumental fiddle tunes, ballads, waltzes, maybe some simple jazzgrass. Some trad bluegrass is ok but I'm not a pure grasser (Bill Monroe is not my idol or main influence) and I don't know a lot of the typical bluegrass tunes that get passed around at bluegrass jams. Acoustic guitar or acoustic guitar and bass would be a good start. I also play guitar but spend more time on mando these days. I have recordings I can share. Hit me up if interested.
