Rare Breedlove 6-String Electric Guitar – Possible Early Prototype
Up for sale is an unusual and hard-to-find Breedlove 6-string solid-body electric guitar that I believe may be an early prototype or pre-production model from approximately 20+ years ago.
I have not yet been able to independently document or authenticate the exact prototype history, so I am listing it as a possible early Breedlove prototype rather than making a definitive claim. I encourage serious buyers and Breedlove collectors to examine the photos and do their own research.
This is not a Breedlove model that I commonly see for sale. It features a beautiful carved, highly figured flame-maple-style top in a rich amber/brown sunburst finish, a single-cutaway body design, two humbucker pickups, two control knobs, a three-way toggle switch, tune-o-matic-style bridge, string-through-body construction, chrome hardware, and the distinctive Breedlove headstock and logo.
The guitar includes what appears to be its original Breedlove padded fitted case/gig bag with plush interior and Breedlove branding.

Condition:
Excellent pre-owned condition for its age. The guitar has been well cared for and presents beautifully. The finish is glossy and the figured top looks exceptional. I do not see any major damage in the photos. As with any pre-owned instrument of this age, there may be minor signs of handling or light cosmetic wear, so please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
Because this may be an unusual prototype or pre-production Breedlove electric, I have priced it based on its condition, rarity, and possible collector interest. I am open to reasonable offers from serious buyers.
