A flexible, healthy and strong body - without knee, back or wrist issues - is required to accomplish all necessary tasks with efficiency and ease. The acceptance of a flexible work schedule is essential, as the work depends on the order volume. Typically, we are very busy February-July and then work slows down August-October with very little work in November-January. On the other hand, the work will be divided among painters, which allows us to accommodate personal time off, especially if it is scheduled in advanced. The amount of work hours and days/per week are flexible as well and can be set according to your personal needs, but we would suggest at least 5-6 hrs per day on the days you work, to make the drive out worth while.
As there is a lot to learn at the beginning, hourly pay ranges from $17-$20, depending on your abilities to work fast and cleanly. The more efficient you get, the more we can pay you and pay will increase over time. Ideally, you see this as an opportunity for part time work that has the potential to evolve into the position of Senior Artist and Manager of the Art Department within a few years.
As part time employee, you will receive paid vacation days depending on the total hours worked per month and you are eligible for a 401(k) retirement plan with a 6% match once you worked for 1000 hrs. We do not offer health insurance. Also, our workshop is smoke free and smoking / vaping or the use of recreational drugs is not allowed on the premise. We appreciate your understanding.
