About the Role
Are you a natural connector with a passion for the Central Oregon lifestyle? Bachelor Guide is looking for a driven, high-energy Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
In this role, you will be the face of our publication, partnering with local businesses—from boutique shops and outdoor gear retailers to luxury resorts and world-class breweries—to help them reach our engaged audience. This is a "boots on the ground" position where you will build relationships, sell multi-platform advertising solutions, and help tell the story of what makes Central Oregon incredible.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify & Prospect: Actively scout new business opportunities and local partners throughout Central Oregon.
• Consultative Selling: Understand a client’s business goals and present creative advertising solutions (print, digital, and social).
• Relationship Management: Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing accounts through exceptional service and consistent follow-up.
• Networking: Represent Bachelor Guide at community events, ribbon cuttings, and chamber mixers.
• Contract Management: Manage the sales cycle from the initial pitch to the signed contract and ad material collection.
What We’re Looking For
• Local Expertise: You know the Central Oregon landscape and have a pulse on the local economy.
• Sales Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or media sales (preferred).
• Self-Starter: You thrive in an independent environment and are motivated by hitting (and exceeding) targets.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
• Professionalism: A polished presence and the ability to build trust quickly with business owners.
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for daily travel throughout Central Oregon.
• Proficiency in CRM software and basic digital tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
