We are looking for a part-time helper on the farm, 4 or 5 days per week, approximately 4 hours per day. This position could expand for the right person with the ideal skill set.

Duties include cleaning the barn daily, running equipment to maintain pastures, feeding hay, filling water troughs and assisting with general herd maintenance.

Skills REQUIRED- Ability to work around and with medium-sized livestock comfortably. Need to be able to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to work independently without constant oversight. Ability to recognize problems and develop a suitable solution independently.

Skills DESIRED that could increase hourly potential- Ability to maintain and/or fix farm equipment and fencing. A background in 4-H or animal husbandry that would be beneficial to the farm.
