We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maint. Tech / Porter to help maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of a 136-unit apartment community in Bend, Oregon.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the property’s grounds and common areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and can maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
The Porter role is typically 4–6 hours per day, making it a great fit for those seeking part-time work. We encourage retirees to apply. For candidates interested in full-time hours, there are maintenance work after the porter roll is completed for the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily litter patrol throughout the property
Dog waste (pet station) cleanup and monitoring
Maintain and clean dumpster areas, including:
Organizing waste
Separating garbage and recyclables appropriately
Sweeping and general cleaning of walkways, breezeways, and stairwells
Deep cleaning tasks such as scrubbing and/or pressure washing surfaces
Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management
Help Senior Maint Tech on unit turns and general Maintenance
Requirements:
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to walk extensively throughout the day, including climbing stairs
Ability to lift and handle garbage bags into dumpsters
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Dependable, punctual, and self-motivate
Bilingual a big plus but not required
