About Our Company
RIDE Adventures is a 15-year old adventure motorcycle rental, touring, and training operation based in Bend, Oregon and with customers and operations from around the world. Our motorcycle rental fleet is based between our 2 training centers (Bend and Pahrump, NV) and is used for ADV bike training and tour packages that our customers purchase. We also offer motorcycle parts and gear for our customers through our webstore, and have served thousands of happy adventure riders over the years.
Overview
We are seeking a reliable part-time motorcycle rental and training center manager to maintain our fleet of adventure bikes and our training range in Bend. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and operational readiness of our fleet, which is used for customer tours, rentals, and our ADV bike training courses.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform routine maintenance, preventative service, and minor repairs on our fleet of rental motorcycles (primarily dual-sport and adventure bikes).
-Load, unload and deliver rental motorcycles in a ready-to-rent condition to customers and instructors.
-Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, cleaning and lubrication to ensure all motorcycles meet safety and company standards.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot occasional mechanical issues and repair within mechanical abilities.
-Maintain detailed service records for all fleet vehicles.
-Manage parts inventory related to routine maintenance.
-Perform or coordinate maintenance and repair work on our support trucks and trailer as needed
Training Center Support
-Maintain the operational readiness of our Bend Training Center
-This may include moving equipment, setting up training areas, cleaning, and general facility upkeep.
-Organizing, packing, and shipping some merchandise to customers may be included
-Construction and maintenance of riding obstacles and infrastructure
-Attend and assist with motorcycle events and rallies (such as the Giant Loop Rally)
Qualifications
-General knowledge of and experience with motorcycle maintenance required.
-Professional motorcycle mechanical experience preferred but not required
-Customer-focused with an “under promise and over deliver” mindset.
-Ability to work well with other team members and stakeholders, including instructors, customers, and landlords.
-Ability to perform tasks requiring physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
-Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate service logs.
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
-A valid driver's license with clean driving record
-Motorcycle endorsement required or ability to obtain one
Work Schedule
-Hours of work can vary weekly according to fleet schedule, bike check-outs, returns, etc. and also whether a group motorcycle training class is scheduled
-Friday afternoons will most consistently require some time at the shop
-10-20 hours per week expected May through October, possibly more
-Possibility of becoming full time work

Late-April 2026
Compensation
$30-40/hour (higher end of range reserved for professional motorcycle mechanical experience) as a part time contractor. A signed W9 form will be needed to start work. Potential for full time work as a W2 employee into the future exists. Employee discounts on name brand gear are also available.
