Mountain Sky, Inc. is seeking skilled and motivated candidates to join our Landscape Construction team! Landscape Laborers are responsible for assisting in the completion of landscape construction projects and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the landscape department in the field.
DUTIES:
Landscape Operations
• Assist in the installation of landscape plantings, irrigation systems, drainage, and landscape lighting at job sites.
• Complete on-the-job training as specified by the Landscape Division Manager.
• Safely operate equipment including but not limited to: skid steer, front loader, and dingo.
• Assist in routine equipment maintenance and organization including vehicles, tools, and machinery.
• Participate in snow removal services during winter months (i.e. manual snow shoveling).
• Other duties as assigned.

• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, including but not limited to the use of company-issued uniforms.
• Utilize all required personal protective equipment.
• Punctual and dependable; reports for duty at the designated location on time each day.

• Strive to improve job skills and develop the potential for upward mobility.
• Uphold in a clean and safe work environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 1+ year of landscape experience. (preferred)
• Willing to participate in a drug-free work environment.
• Capable of lifting 50+ pounds on a regular basis.
• Valid Oregon driver license with clean driving record. (preferred)
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasonal temperatures and conditions, including exposure to extreme weather.
• Ability to work during all operating hours, including nights and weekends as required.
• Experience in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Basic heavy equipment operating skills including dingo and skid steers with various attachments; able to operate other construction equipment as needed.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems, components, water features, and electrical timer systems.
• Basic knowledge and experience in installing a variety of plantings and trees.
• Basic knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.
