Local family owned neighborhood garden center and nursery for seasonal helpers to join our team to assist customers, sales, care for plants, and maintain inventory in indoor/outdoor garden center settings. Physically active role with frequent standing, lifting, and overhead reaching.
Key Duties
Greet customers, Sales, answer questions, and assist with purchases
Move plants/products to checkout and load into vehicles
Water and maintain greenhouse/outdoor plants, including hanging baskets
Organize inventory, transport soil/compost with carts
Keep work areas clean and safe
Requirements
Customer-focused, reliable, able to work independently and in a team
Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs (team lift over 50 lbs)
Frequent overhead reaching, bending, and repetitive tasks
Comfortable working outdoors in varied weather
Hours & Pay
Seasonal work; weekends required.
