Meet Tex! A lovely ~14.2hh buckskin gelding. Vet aged 10-15 years old, but hard to age from damaged teeth from cribbing.
Tex is completing 30 days riding start,
Pros:
* Easy to catch once he knows you.
* Easy to saddle, ground drive, lunge, ride-walk, trot, stop, back (only a few rides so far, continuing till sold).
Cons:
•Anxiety being hard tied, hasn’t pulled back but hard to stand still/calm.
•easy to trailer load but big pawer.
•Has bucked at lope.
Tex is a good boy looking for gentle patient hands, a forever final home. He has a big unknown history, was supposedly a lead-line kids horse but never broke to ride. Was previously drugged for farrier visits.
Available to view in Powell Butte, OR.
Owners only selling as he hasn’t proved to be safe around little kids.
