Composting Worms - $25 (Bend)

Composting Worms 1 thumbnailComposting Worms 2 thumbnail
Extraordinarily voracious composting worms. They are European Nightcrawlers (Eisinia hortensis), although they are small for the species, as I keep them for composting, not for bait or for sale. My stock are only a little larger than Red Wigglers (Eisinia fetida), but the Crawlers are much more firm, muscular, and vigorous. They also reproduce and compost better in my bins - I have tried both. If you fish, you could select out some big ones for bait, and compost with the rest. As bait, they are said to far outperform the usual (and much larger) bait species, "Canadian nightcrawlers," especially in cold or salty water.

I can't measure precisely, but am offering a generous pound for $25, which is half of market price or less. Limited quantity available (surplus from my home compost bin). Also a few buckets of worm compost available - $25 for 5 gallons, including bucket. Advice and opinions free - text, call or email (email may be slower response).
