Beautifully engineered and constructed of maple or mahogany swivel desk chair with articulating back from the 1930s by The Marble & Shattuck Chair Co Cleveland. Love this chair and its overbuilt mechanisms but it needs to find a new home. With the spring loaded back piece it is more comfortable than at first glance. It is nearly 100 years old but with what appears to be the original finish. Though there are certainly areas the could use some sprucing up, I love the patina. I have found similar chairs go for between $250 and $500. Own a unique piece of American furniture history. Priced to facilitate a smooth and quick transaction.
