Ski lift chair from the Saints John Lift at Keystone Colorado. The lift was mid-mountain on Keystone Mountain before they did the North Peak and Outback expansions. Not sure what year the lift was actually torn down, but I have owned this chair for 23 years.
All the old paint was stripped, and the chair was powder coated red. I also had legs and feet welded on and cut off the grip.
The chair resided in my home as an entertainment center (it also has 3 custom shelves) for 18 years. Unfortunately, I moved and the chair has now been outside for almost 3 years, not the shelves though, just the chair. So the paint has faded, but the legs and feet are not rusty. None of it is rusty.
It is a two person chairlift with a foot rest that is still attached. See photo the chairlift on the legs and feet is approximately under 10 feet tall. It’s definitely a must see.
I worked on this chair on February 8, 1993. See photo. I’m sure this chair has many stories, but I have some to tell. If you buy this chair, I will tell you the stories.
It breaks my heart to have to part with this chair. I am looking for someone who wants this chair and wants to enjoy it and show it some good times.
