Purchased ottoman and was shipped wrong color. Repurchased to get correct color. Paid $35. Selling for $30 firm.

The foot stool is a good quality. The wood smells great and reminds me of the smell of the wood drum shells of my drum kit. The stool is small - measurements below. Perfect for use with a gaming chair. The velvet cover is soft and there is enough cushion on the lid to make it comfortable for my feet.

The stool shell is 13 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall without the wheels installed, and 8 inches tall from the floor with the wheels installed. The shell storage inside is 11.6 inches in diameter and 3.6 inches deep. The wood on the lid and stool is 5/8 thick - the same thickness of a Chapstick / lip balm tube. The inside of the lid has a sturdy wood platform for use as a small table.

The roller wheels are sturdy and take a couple minutes to screw into the stool with the provided cast flat metal wrench - this makes them secure without the nuisance of them falling out like roller wheels that you simple push to install them often do. Two of the four wheels have brakes on them - my suggestion is to install them opposite of each other for best results.

The stool is more than sturdy enough for the average person to sit on, however due to its low height, some with knee or hip mobility issues may find it difficult to get up from it. While it can be used for a step stool with the brakes locked, after about a minute or two of thorough testing, those with balance issues may not find it sturdy enough for that use. If you stand too close to the edge it can topple over - in fact I was able to make it teeter totter real easy as if I was riding a skateboard. It can be used for a quick foot stool if you need an extra 8 inches of height, you just have to pay attention to your balance and be sure to stand in the center and be aware of the edges.
