Waypoint by Bend Brewing Co. is a hospitality-focused restaurant and bar dedicated to providing exceptional food, drinks, and service in the heart of Bend. We are seeking an experienced bartender who is passionate about craft cocktails, quality beer and wine, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Position Summary:
The Bartender is responsible for delivering outstanding hospitality while preparing and serving high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience with elevated cocktails, craft beer, and wine service, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in creating a positive and welcoming experience for every guest.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve craft cocktails with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
Demonstrate strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and beverage trends
Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests
Create a welcoming atmosphere and build relationships with regular guests
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional hospitality
Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality standards
Accurately process orders and handle cash and credit card transactions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and service areas
Assist with opening, closing, stocking, inventory, and side work duties
Follow all OLCC regulations and company policies regarding alcohol service
Work collaboratively with managers, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant, cocktail bar, or hospitality environment
Experience preparing high-end craft cocktails
Strong knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication and guest service skills
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Current OLCC Service Permit and Oregon Food Handler Card, or ability to obtain prior to employment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Pay: $15.05 per hour plus tipsOur bartenders have the opportunity to earn significant additional income through tips while working in a busy, guest-focused environment.
