Job Summary
Bar RBC, a premier dining spot in Bend, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our culinary team. You will handle daily food preparation to ensure our kitchen runs smoothly and meets high standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and sauces.
Follow recipes and portion controls accurately according to kitchen standards.
Maintain sanitation by cleaning workspaces, equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
Monitor inventory and rotate stock using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
Comply with health codes regarding food storage, temperatures, and handling.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum 1 year of kitchen or prep cook experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
Food Handler Card: Must possess, or obtain within 30 days of hire, a valid Oregon Food Handler Card.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs safely.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
