1980's Nishiki Kokusai 10-speed men's road bike. Rides like a dream and is quiet.

Great condition, except for the tires and innertubes, which are too old. One has a split in it. The saddle is cushioned leather but is a bit dried-out. Still very comfortable.

Chrome-Molybdenum alloy frame that is lighter than steel. 27X1.25" tires. Drop handlebars with handbrake extensions for riding upright. Yolk shifters. Alloy aluminum handlebars, yolk and seat riser. Quick-release hubs, front and rear. Sugino Chainwheel Maxy aluminum alloy crank. ESGE Pletscher aluminum kickstand. Sun Tour derailleur and Dia-Compe brakes.

I believe the largest rear sprocket is larger than the typical road bike from this era, allowing better steep hill climbing. I used it to bike mountains a couple of times in Boulder CO. Never put that many miles on it however. Was my college bike to get between classes at CU.

Offers considered.
