Original 1983 Specialized Stumpjumper, with practical upgrades. I am the original owner of this bicycle purchased in 1983 and used as my primary mountain and racing bicycle for some years. I've kept it in incredible condition. This was when Blue was a pretty blue color. It has bio-pace chainrings, a new seat, and a more flexible fork than original. FYI, I have the original fork and some other components, they are in storage in some box, not easily accessed at the moment, but when I find them, I'll give them to the buyer.
I purchased this bike in Cupertino California in early 1983, it was the first 1983 Stumpjumper shipped to any dealer in California at that time. It is very clean and very nice with only a few scratches from use. When these came out they were in sizes small, medium, and large. This one was called large. C to T is 56 cm or 22 inches. I have the original Fork for this bike. Selling for $550 OBO.
