Up for sale is our MADE IN USA Cannondale Aluminum Road Tandem.
Size is what Cannondale calls a Large/Small (L/S). The captains top tube is 56cm, but the headtube is very tall...
SIZING: For context, I'm 5'9" and my wife is 5'4". And you can see in the photos how the tandem is sized for us. As pictured, the tandem currently has a 100mm captains stem. The EASTON flared captains handlebar is 42cm at the hoods, and flared to 49cm at the drops (center to center). With a longer stem, there is plenty of room for a much taller rider. I've included the Cannondale Geometry Chart in the pics.
PARTS: Mostly stock, this tandem is equipped with a Shimano Ultegra (Front & Rear Derailleurs) 10x3 Drivetrain, Ultegra Flight Deck Brake/Shift Levers, White Industries Hubs, SUN ME14A Rims, HOPE CNC Quick Releases, Avid BB7 Mechanical Disc Brakes, FSA Gossamer Crankset, Easton Captains Flared Gravel Handlebar, Spurcycle Bell, Bontrager Alloy Bottle Cages, Camelbak Podium Bottles, ZIPP CX Handlebar Tape, Red Frame Bag, Cannondale Adjustable Stoker Stem, Cane Creek Suspension Stoker Seatpost, Thomson Captains Seatpost, and fresh Panaracer Gravel King 700x40c Tires.
GEARING: Front triple is 52/39/30T. Rear cassette is 12-30T (Let me confrim that?).
NEW PARTS: Bike has just been overhauled prior to sale and the following parts have less than 100 miles on them... New Shimano Ultegra chains (x3), Shift & Brake Cables & Housing, Avid BB7 Brake Pads, Avid Rotors, Red ZIPP Handlebar Tape, and Panaracer 40c Tires. (These are tubeless ready tires that currently have inner tubes in them, as these are not tubeless wheels).
Bicycle is in Excellent Condition with very minimal blemishes. There's some cable rub around the headtube and some light scratches in a few places from years of careful riding. Bicycle has been recently overhauled and should need zero maintenace for another many years. If you need additional photos or information please feel free to reach out.
NOT PICTURED: I have a Blackburn Rear Rack and spare Avid brake rotor that are included.
NOTE: MY PRICE IS FIRM, THANK YOU.
DELIVERY: You're going to want to come pick this up in person. For the right buyer I can help with in-person delivery within Oregon. If you're asking about shipping it to you the short answer is probably $450-$500, which is $200 for building a tandem box and carefully packing it, and another $250+ for freight shipping within the 48 States. Last I checked most tandems are too big for BikeFlights.com
