This has been in my family since the 1970's my mom paid a fortune to have it refinished and I never had the heart to paint it. The top mirrored piece comes off for easier moving. The bottom right door was broken but fixed...could be done better. I am not sure of the wood but was told it could be walnut. It is not veneer see photos. A lovely piece of furniture but it doesn't go with my other stuff.
