For the month of August - experiance all that Bend has to offer, and at a low cost. Upstairs in home is completly private and unused by family. Bedroom plus bath and den which has a microwae and fridge for our guests as well as internet. Family with kids? That is welcome too! $75.00 per night. There are two guest rooms, plus den and bath. Located at end of street which backs up to the play structure area of a grade school and a park! This is a really cool way to vacation inexpensivly with so many amenities for a family! Internet service, newspaper in the morning, many movies to choose from. You get to take a break from cable tv. Picture this: You walk in, meet your host family, you are briefed thru all kinds of brochures on what you can do in Bend as well as thru your host families experiances of the best in Bend. You come back to your room(s) with fresh 400 count linens, a welcome basket, you explore your (and your kids) living area for the next day or ? which is stocked with the unique and unusual for games and toys. You go out for dinner and explore a bit, perhaps walk to the park. You come back to your guest home to the sound of homemade ice cream, cookies or some kind of desert served in the evening or perhaps good old fashioned popcorn over the stove as you select a movie from the 200+ available. You wake up to cinimon/apple pancakes, or whatever else might be cooking from the culinary skills of Miss Amber. This is a vacation that will always hold precious memories with the enrichment of your host family. It's something I've always wanted to do - papmper others with gifts of hospitality and make a memorable experiance for them - so for the month of August - and who knows?
