I'm moving to Bend to work part-time, ski 4 days a week, and do a bunch of photography, nature writing, and playing the piano. I'll also be doing some volunteer work on the side. Currently, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place; I'm originally from central California and moved up here approximately two and a half years ago with family. While I completed the last two years of high school my family fell apart literally and financially, making going "home" far from synonymous with anything good and beneficial "home" is thought to represent or offer. A few months ago I moved here, Bend, with a boyfriend and so far, have been living with him at his dad's until we could financially stand on our feet. Now that our relationship is over and, understandably, I have been asked to leave; I have until the first week of January to find a new place to live. While I've been scouring job-hosting websites at least twice a day, following up on applications, I have turned over very little in results and even if I got a job today, I would not have sufficient funds to move and survive on my own.

My husband and I are staying in Bend for the next several months while we do daily medical treatments for our son.

We have previously looked for a place to rent, but ALL places required a 6 month lease, and since we are unsure exactly how long our son's treatments will be able to continue, it is very difficult for us to sign a 6 or 12 month lease. We are currently staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Bend -- great location & great place to stay, but because of all the concern with Swine Flu, and the people that come and go here at the Ronald McDonald House, we feel like we need to find a place where our son is exposed to fewer people on a daily basis.

The ideal situation would be someone that has a place that is vacant for the winter, but wants to know that the place is cared for while they are away. If the medical treatments end and you still have a need for us to stay, we can remain in Bend until you no longer need us. We are willing to work/maintain in exchange for rent.

My last 2 jobs have required me to pass background checks (including finger printing for my Real Estate Broker's License which I have held for 10+ years and my last position were I worked for Hewlett-Packard required security and background checks), and we can provide references as well. We are extremely careful & tidy, and will keep your place meticulously clean -- it is a requirement for our son's environment.

I am quiet and very responsible. I don't smoke, drink, do drugs or party. I have a part time job and will be going to college. We just can't afford to rent a 6 bedroom house for it to be considered "big enough" for 3 pets...
Anywhere from 400-600/mo. We don't care if it's an apt, townhome, manuf. home, etc... we walk them daily.
Everywhere we check into says pets okay, don't leave your pet to move, etc... but then they're flat out astonished that we have more than one...

We keep rental insurance and even have all three of the pets on medial plans via Banfield pet hospital so they're all very well taken care of and nothing to worry about.
The cat and one of the dogs (Cocker spaniel) sleep all day, the other dog just follows us around like a toddler...
Cocker is roughly 30lbs, he rides in my lap in the car so he's not too big...
The other dog is mini-aussie/pekingese and weighs about 15lbs. Same as the cat.
They're not destructive in any sense I feel that the property management we've contacted has just been told no more than x ammount of pets from the owners.

But we can't find a single place that is okay with 3 pets! We don't need a "bigger place" because we have pets... I'm not going to pay for another bedroom in a rental just because we have another pet and the other unit is "too small" for the pet... These guys are okay with sleeping in a bedroom for the rest of their lives as long as they get to go out and potty...

We are a couple with a sweet dog (we wouldn't leave her unattended in your house at anytime). You can bring a well behaved dog to our house but there is no fenced yard.
