be smarter than you and set you up . He has a mental problem being around other

In a desperate race against time, more than 200 rescuers worked to save the trapped miners. The men were trapped in a small chamber just over four feet high and 18ft wide, in frigid 55 degree water. The area of entrapment was approximately 240 feet underground and about one and a half miles from the mine entrance. The miners "decided early on they were either going to live or die as a group." They were all rescued as a group some 77 hours after being trapped in the mine.
The 55 degree (Fahrenheit) water threatened to kill them slowly by hypothermia, so according to one news report "When one would get cold, the other eight would huddle around the person and warm that person, and when another person got cold, the favor was returned."
"Everybody had strong moments," miner Harry B. Mayhugh told reporters after being released from Somerset Hospital in Somerset. "But any certain time maybe one guy got down, and then the rest pulled together. And then that guy would get back up, and maybe someone else would feel a little weaker, but it was a team effort. That's the only way it could have been."

Just as I was leaving the fast food joint two cops were approaching the man. Apparently the Store owners had complained of his vagrancy and the cops were there to escort him away from the storefront. Just as they were about to wake him, I asked one of the officers if it was alright if I just gave the man something before he went. I was not sure why I asked permission but the cop said sure and so I just left the bag on the man's bike, got in my car and drove off.
As I was driving off I remember thinking, "I hope people saw that." Then I had to seriously ask myself why I hoped people had seen me give the man some food. Was it because I wanted people to think, "He is such a nice person!"? Is that why we do nice things? So people will think we're so great? The thought of possibly being a showoff offended me somewhat. That's not why I did it at all. So why DID I do it? Why did I hope others had seen me do it? I continued to wonder this all evening.
The next morning it came to me. I wanted people to have witnessed that small act of kindness not so that I would receive credit and praise but so that they might be inspired to do the same and in so doing that others still would witness their acts of kindness. Thus the whole spirit of compassion and giving would be perpetuated.
I don't like to tell people a lot about me. I also don't like people to know of the things that I do because I somehow feel that it puts me in an unattractive light, that it makes me look like a showoff. We all know people who like to brag to anyone who'll listen about how wonderful they are and I would not want to be considered one of those types. But I do think that people could stand to be more generous and compassionate and it occurred to me that if I don't share with them what it is that I do and believe in then they might not know to do the same. So, my lesson was to share but to do so always with humility and most importantly, to lead by example.

We have a lovely home on several acres with farm animals and a swimming pool. We live in a wonderful small, family-oriented community that is safe and has been a great place to raise a family. We are just waiting to welcome more children into our family and share all of this, plus our experience and love with them.
There are so many more things that we'd like to say about our family but there is just not enough time and space for everything. We are familiar with all stages of raising children and we STILL love it! If you or someone you know is thinking of adoption as an option, then please let us know. The best part of the day was delivering the food to homes. My wife and I had signed up. However, initially, they had enough drivers and no assignment for us. Nevertheless, the gentleman in front of us checking in had six meals to deliver. So my wife and I approached him, offering to help him fill his box and walk the meals to his car. He was grateful and we began our task. When he was directed to deliver his quota, he handed us one of the delivery cards, saying, “ Since this is your first time, I want you to be able to feel the joy that comes from meeting the people.” I'll admit that I was somewhat nervous at this first assignment. Who knows what Imight find behind a stranger's door.
My wife and I were off to deliver. We rang the doorbell and were met by an extremely friendly man. He asked us inside and from the hallway, I could see the silver legs of a walker approaching. We saw a little old lady, and from her came a wondrous smile and warm greeting of, “Happy Thanksgiving.” I was compelled to wrap my arms around her responding, “Happy Thanksgiving to you, too.” She expressed deep gratitude for the delivery. Since she had been diagnosed with cancer she has had trouble getting out. She could not have been any more gracious and handed my wife a beautiful scarf she had made.
Can you imagine? Cancer, unable to get out to gather dinner and she still exhibited such deep gratitude and exude such love. We left but not before we hugged goodbye. The gentleman that was kind enough to give us one of his deliveries was right. This was absolutely the best part!!!!
