Presented by the Rose Palette, Patrick will return from Hawaii to present a workshop in North Bend with classes on January 22, 23 and 24th, 2010 at the Pony Village Mall. His last workshop was in 2007 Each class will be six hours long. Whether you're a beginner or professional you will enjoy learning about his unique painting techniques with Genesis Paints. The last time Patrick was here his students were amazed that the Genesis Paints can be dried allowing multiple layers to be added in the same painting session.
Patrick was born and raised in Hawaii. With twenty eight years of professional painting, Patrick is a world class artist and author. Fees includes all paint, canvas and materials. The B Positiv charity art show is in it's sixth year and remains committed to the fight against Childhood Cancer in Central Oregon. The event is known for it's diversity of artistic styles which are represented each year as well as for the incredible spirit of community and of love surrounding this event. We feature world-class artistic submissions in a stunning array of mediums presented.
(including original paintings, ceramics, glass art, photography, textiles, wood art, metal sculpture, fine jewelry, fine crafts, quilts and more!)
We even receive an incredible donation of origami art (more than 2000+ cranes) each year from the Bandai HS in Niigata Japan, as well as the Japanese program at Jesuit HS in Portland.
We are fortunate enough to have had the participation of so many wonderful local artists....as well as pieces which have been sent and donated from as far away as Florida, Connecticut, California, New Jersey, New York...and even several international artistic submissions.! We have hosted pieces donated by artists of the Poet House in Bend, the COCC fine arts program, the Portland friends art cooperative and many more!
While the Bpositiv charity art show features mostly professional artists and art, we are proud to continue a tradition accepting student artistic submissions (upon approval) as well.
We will be happy to prominently feature each artist's business cards, brochures or contact information with your work, we may also include a link to your website at Bpositiv.org (upon approval).
All proceeds from the event and web site are donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and their programs as well as those organizations involved in fighting childhood cancer.
This is a way for your fine art to be seen by the community, and for you to directly lend a hand in the fight against childhood cancer and blood cancers in Central Oregon!
